Simeon + Rebecca eloped with only their close family members at The Ivy Hotel last June. They first hired me to capture their engagement photos and then their engagement party, so by the time their elopement came, I already knew them as the quirky, personable, and extremely kind human beings that they are. Rebecca even gave me little tokens of gratitude each time she saw me– a B.Willow gift card, a tiny plant which is healthily growing in my home, and two little wedding themed foxes.
Two families of tradition, Rebecca's mother passed down her grandmother's bouquet while wearing Simeon's grandmother's ring. Rebecca wore a chic, off the shoulder gown fastened with a bow at the shoulder and a pearled veil while Simeon wore a grey pinstripe suit with a boutonnière to match Rebecca's bouquet.
The ceremony and portraits only lasted for two hours but was filled with so many beautiful moments: Rebecca's mother fastening her veil, a first look with Simeon, followed by another one with Rebecca's Father, and finally tear filled moments during the ceremony that got me teary eye'd too.
